Description

Hilton Herbs Bye Bye Itch 2kg.

The herbal blend against itching in horses, for a healthy coat, mane and tail in spring and summer.
To be used for: summer eczema, summer shedding, itching.

Does exactly what the label says!
BYE BYE ITCH is formulated to help combat seasonal itching in all equines.
The supplement is rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs), vital for maintaining skin and cellular integrity and boosting natural resistance to allergens and irritations.
The supplement also contains herbs that provide cleansing and soothing anti-allergenic effects.

BYE BYE ITCH is designed to be fed to horses and ponies in the months leading up to and during the 'itching' season.
The mix has been tested extensively in the United Kingdom, where 93% of trial participants indicated that feeding BYE BYE ITCH had significantly helped their horse or pony.

Summer eczema usually only occurs during the warmer times of the year.
This can be due to the small mosquito (Culicoides) but can also be caused by wrong ( too `rich` ) feeding.
Bye Bye Itch helps cleanse the blood and strengthens the horse's natural immune system reducing the allergic reaction.
This mix also contains herbs rich in sulfur, this sulfur is secreted by the horse through the pores of the skin, which helps to cleanse the skin and thus promotes healing.
The horse also emits a body odor that is mildly fly repellent.
For horses or ponies prone to these problems, it is recommended to feed Bye Bye Itch from March to the end of September.
In the fall and winter, a maintenance dose can be maintained for these horses and ponies.

COMPOSITION: Linseed, brewer's yeast, vegetable charcoal, Buckwheat, nettle, Diatomaceous Earth

Bye Bye Itch for horses, ponies and donkeys is a specially formulated, 100% natural herbal supplement rich in essential fatty acids to support:

  • Firm skin and skin cells

  • Natural resistance to allergens and skin irritation

  • The removal of toxins from the body.

Summer eczema drives a horse - and its owner - to madness. The terrible itching results from an allergic reaction to the bite of a small insect: a small stinging mosquito also called knut. The Latin name for this stinging mosquito is Culicoides. The allergic reaction to the saliva of the knut, which remains in your horse's skin after the bite, can lead to severe skin irritation in your horse.

The itching causes your horse to want to scratch: he will rub against anything and everything to get rid of that frustrating itch. Often he will rub until the skin breaks. The skin may thicken in those areas and, in severe cases, a skin infection may develop. Summer eczema often occurs near the mane and tail, but can also occur in other areas of the body. Robust, austere breeds of horses are especially susceptible to summer eczema.

Bye Bye Itch is specially formulated to be fed to horses and ponies in the months leading up to and during the "itching season. In addition, you can give Bye Bye Itch in a lower dose to your horse during the winter months to provide additional support so that your horse enters spring with good natural defenses. Use in combination with our Bye Bye Itch Lotion for optimal results.

Hilton Herbs Bye Bye Itch has been extensively tested in the UK, where 93% of trial participants reported that feeding Bye Bye Itch had significantly helped their horse or pony.

Bye Bye Itch contains flaxseed (linseed) which Hilton Herbs selected for this supplement because it is so rich in essential fatty acids.
Essential fatty acids are called "essential" because they are essential (necessary) components of cell membranes and can only be obtained through diet: the body cannot make them itself. Essential fatty acids come in two different types: Omega 3 fatty acids are found in flaxseed, soybeans and oily fish (sardines, salmon, etc.). Omega 6 fatty acids are found in nuts, sunflower seeds, etc.

Flaxseed also contains: phytoestrogens, flavonoids, a complex array of amino acids and micronutrients such as thiamin (Vit B1), Riboflavin (Vit B2), Niacin (Vit B3), Pantothenic Acid (B5), Vit B6, Vit C, Calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc.

Ingredients:
Flaxseed, Brewer's yeast, Activated cabbage, Buckwheat, Nettle, Diatomaceous earth.

Recommended Dosage:
Stoke size:
Up to 128cm - 1 scoop daily.
128-148cm - 2 scoops daily

168 cm and larger - 4 - 5 scoops daily

In addition to Bye Bye Itch we recommend Hilton Herbs Bye Bye Itch lotion: for the care of skin areas affected by summer eczema.
