A dynamic musculoskeletal system is more than bone alone.
It is a delicate interplay of bone, cartilage, synovial fluid, bursae, ligaments, tendons, muscles and all the physiological processes surrounding them.
The dependence on each other and the necessary interaction means that an optimal supply of the right building blocks (nutrients) is necessary for the proper functioning, strength and maintenance of the entire musculoskeletal system.
The proper functioning of the entire musculoskeletal system of the sport horse is highly dependent on the supply of the right nutrients (building materials).
These ensure, among other things, the production and regeneration of cells, joint fluid and functionality.
Insufficient supply, absorption or synthesis leads to problems or exacerbates existing problems.

Increased needs quickly arise in cases of growth, large loads, susceptibility to and presence of injuries, wear, swelling
pressure, inflammation, degeneration (think also of hoof cataract), arthrosis and joint fluid composition/quantity, etc.

Cavalor Artri Matrix is a supplementary feed for horses based on natural raw materials.
Its composition is based on the horse's increased need for specific and, above all, effective nutrients for the joints and locomotor system.

Cavalor Artri Matrix enriches the diet with a particularly wide range of specific proteins that are already prepared for the task they have to perform.
In addition, there are typical minerals, vitamins and amino acids that play a crucial role in building the bones, cartilage, ligaments, joint fluid, tendons, etc.

When is Cavalor Arti Matrix used?
- When there is an increased need for specific nutrients for the locomotor system (in periods of deficiency due to acute or structural problems).
- In horses with a sensitive locomotor system.
- In horses whose locomotor system is heavily loaded.
- In cases of nutrient deficiency or insufficient absorption and/or synthesis.

The result?
Because the horse's body has access to a range of substances, the locomotor system will quickly reach a more normalized situation.
Cavalor Artri Matrix is a widely used nutritional supplement in top sport.

DOSAGE:
Ponies: 1 scoop = 15 grams per day.
Horses: 2 scoops = 30 grams per day.
Sport horses: 3 scoops = 45 grams per day.
For optimal results, double the dosage during the 1st week.
Administer to your horse for a minimum of 8 weeks.
If necessary, repeat treatment every 6 months over a period of 30 days.
Maximum dose per horse, per day: 90 grams = 6 scoops.
Pretreatment with Cavalor Artri Base® is possible if the cause of the infection and symptoms have disappeared.

Type II hydrolyzed collagen: Type II collagen produces fiber. This collagen fiber network supports joints and strengthens tissues.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): is an organic sulfur compound. Sulfur is important for muscles, joints, cartilage, bones and blood; MSM is the most easily absorbed and bioavailable source of sulfur.
Glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid: Glycosaminoglycans are essential building blocks for ligaments, tendons, bones and synovia (joint fluid). The chondroitin sulfate we use has a low molecular weight, making it easily absorbed into the horse's body. As with other raw materials, quality is a measure of price and effectiveness. Cavalor selects raw materials with the highest content of active ingredients. For example, chondroitin sulfate contains 90% active ingredients.
L-Glutamine: Is a building block for glutathione, an antioxidant. Glutathione is important in the recovery process after injury.
Whey Protein Isolate (WPI): a precursor to glutathione. Glutathione is a very powerful antioxidant. Pure glutathione cannot be administered orally. Cavalor uses a nutritional complex called WPI that stimulates glutathione production in the body. Glutathione protects cells from the destruction caused by increasing free radical attacks. glutathione combined with other antioxidants such as vitamins C, E, bioflavonoids and selenium neutralizes these free radicals.
Vitamin C + E + beta-carotene + bioflavonoids (grape seed extract): have an important antioxidant function, are important for the absorption of active ingredients and strengthen the immune system.
B vitamins: folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12: play a key role in supporting the body's metabolic processes.
Combination of inorganic and organic (IntelliBond and chelated) minerals copper, zinc and manganese: Organic minerals have better bioavailability, but inorganic minerals are more stable.
Lithothamnion: calcareous marine algae containing various forms of calcium that have beneficial effects on bone strength.

It's all in the mix: a complex blend of botanical ingredients. We use a special blend of herbs and essential oils, including Ananasus comosus, Curcuma longa, Boswellia serrata, Equisetum arvensis, Citrus aurantifolia and Tanacetum parthenium. The ingredients in this blend have a cumulative and synergistic effect, which has been scientifically proven in our research program 1,2,3. For example, the combination of herbs and essential oils ensures that all ingredients easily reach the joint, promote recovery and reduce stiffness. Again, we focus specifically on the quality of the raw materials, which in herbs really makes the difference in terms of guaranteed concentration and efficacy. For example, the form of Curcuma we use contains 95% curcuminoids, the active ingredient.
