Sectolin Biotin  provides for the important need for biotin, an essential H vitamin that is only available in nature in small concentrations.

Sectolin Biotin can be used as a supplementary animal feed in case of biotin deficiency in horses with possible symptoms: poor hoof quality such as too soft hooves, cracks, crumbling and abnormal hoof shape.

Due to the wide variation in hardness of the horny layers, the border areas of the hoof are particularly sensitive to damage.
The large load, due to the weight and movement of the horse, as well as the load acting on the horse's hoof from the ground, often causes hoof problems.
It has been known for some time that, in addition to external factors, an insufficient supply of biotin in the feed causes various hoof problems.
Biotin is a water-soluble and sulfur-containing essential H vitamin that is only available in small concentrations in nature.
Biotin has a broad spectrum of metabolic functions (carbohydrate and nucleic acid metabolism, fatty acid, protein and purine synthesis). A lack of metabolic functions therefore has a profound effect on the animal.
With a chronic shortage of biotin, hoof and skin complaints occur.
Research has shown that by providing enough biotin in the feed, the outer wall of the hoof becomes harder and more resistant to external influences, while the hoof balls become softer in those places where it is desired.
Biotin has been shown to play an essential role in the formation of the skin and hooves. An adequate supply of this H vitamin is of the utmost importance for the quality of the hoof. Equivital Biotin is a supplementary animal (diet) feed.
 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (FEEDING ADVICE):

One measuring spoon = approx. 5 g.

A 3 kg bucket is sufficient for approx. 300 days at a daily dose of 10 g.

SAVE:
Reclose with lid. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
