USE:
Green clay mask:
Green clay paste is excellent to use as a cleansing and skin-repairing mask for normal to oily skin. And very effective for pimples and acne.
Apply the green clay paste generously on the face. The green clay paste dries. Leave the mask on for a maximum of 20 minutes. Remove the mask with warm water. The dried green clay paste is easiest to remove in the shower. This way the clay is also rinsed away well.
It is possible to add 1-2 drop(s) of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of green clay mask to this ready-to-use tube. Note: first dissolve the essential oil in a teaspoon of plant oil.
Do you have dry and/or sensitive skin? You can also use the green clay for a cleansing and skin-repairing mask. Due to the strong cleaning and drying effect of the clay, our advice is to add extra plant oil or cover it with foil or compress cloths.
In this way, the mask is a bit softer and kinder to the skin and the mask does not dry out. After a maximum of 20 minutes you can remove the mask with cotton wool or tissues and after cleaning with warm water.
You can also use green clay powder and mix it with a base oil, such as almond or jojoba oil.
Green clay wraps and compresses:
The ready-to-use green clay paste is also excellent for use for gaskets and compresses. Give your whole body a cleansing wrap by applying the clay liberally all over the body. Let the clay dry for 20 minutes and remove the clay with a warm shower. The ready-made green clay paste can also be used as a cold compress. A cold clay compress draws heat from the skin and body. Ideal after training or sports!
Green clay as washing water:
Clay is even suitable for skin types that cannot tolerate soap. Massage the clay into damp skin to thoroughly cleanse the pores. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
Improved Formula:
This improved formula has a wonderful scent, is easier to apply and is very skin-friendly. The ready-to-use formula consists only of pure green clay from the south of France, organic rose and lavender water from Bulgaria and, for shelf life, a very small amount (behind the decimal point) of natural cosmetics preservative (Ecocert certified). Products mixed with water are perishable and must therefore always be preserved to prevent bacterial and fungal growth.
The essential oils of tea tree and lavender have been removed from the formulation at the request of many professionals, so you can (if necessary) add an essential oil yourself. Then add 1-2 drop(s) of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of green clay mask. Note: first dissolve the essential oil in a teaspoon of plant oil. The rose and lavender water replace the 'regular' water and essential oils from the old formula. Hydrolates are very gentle on the skin, they have an astringent, toning, purifying effect and have a wonderful scent.
