Traumeel S. Tablets.

Homeopathic medicine without specific therapeutic indication applied according to the principles of homeopathic medicine.

For pain due to bruising, strain or sprain, for muscle pain due to overexertion and bruising (due to injury).

Information about the ingredients:

• Arnica montana, trap herb, is a widely used homeopathic ingredient and has a vasodilatory effect. In addition, Arnica montana can be applied to improve blood flow and for emerging swellings and bruises. Arnica should never be applied externally to open wounds.

• Calendula officinalis, marigold, is a widely used homeopathic component as an anti-inflammatory, to stimulate the formation of granulation tissue (wound healing) and to reduce scarring.

• Symphytum officinale, comfrey, is a widely used homeopathic constituent and has wound healing, mucus forming and astringent properties. The allantoin present in the plant stimulates damaged tissue to form new granulation tissue and also stimulates cell division.

Composition per tablet of 301.5 mg:

Contains lactose.

Dosage
Dosage for adults and children 12 years and older:
Take 1 tablet 3 times daily. If necessary, take 1 tablet every 15 minutes for 2 hours (maximum 12 tablets daily).

Dosage for children 6 to 12 years of age:
Take 1 tablet 2 times daily. If necessary, take 1 tablet every 15 minutes, for 1½ hours (maximum 8 tablets daily).

Dosage for children 2 to 6 years of age:
Take 1 tablet once daily. If necessary, take 1 tablet every 15 minutes, for 1 hour (maximum 6 tablets daily).

The tablets should preferably be disintegrated in the mouth, held in the mouth for a moment and then swallowed.

ANIMALS:

Horses: 6 tablets 2 times daily (maximum 20 tablets per day).

Dogs: 1 tablet 2 times daily (maximum 6 tablets per day)

Contraindications None.

Side effects There are no known side effects of Traumeel®.

Interactions No interactions with other drugs are known.

Pregnancy and lactation

As far as we know, Traumeel® can be used during pregnancy and lactation without any objection according to the recommended dosage.

Effects on ability to drive and use machines
To the best of our knowledge, Traumeel® does not affect the ability to drive and use machines at the recommended dose.
